OCEANIA JUNIOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS SET FOR THIS WEEK

The Oceania Junior World Cup Qualifiers are set to take place in Auckland at Lloyd Elsmore Park between Thursday January 30th to Sunday February 2nd, and will feature both our U21 Men’s and Women’s teams competing against main rivalry Australia, the NZ Maori team and an invitational team to be confirmed.

This tournament is an important step for both teams to secure their spots in the Junior World Cup held later in the year. The FIH Men’s Junior World Cup is scheduled to be held in India and the FIH Women’s Junior World Cup is to be held in Chile, both in December 2025. With the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea unable to participate, New Zealand and Australia will qualify automatically. However, the tournament remains crucial as it provides an excellent opportunity for the teams to practice together and strengthen their cohesion and strategies. Who will come out on top?

Watch Live: Can't make it to the Lloyd Elsmore Park?  All games will be streamed live on Hockey TV. You can purchase a tournament pass for $15 or an individual game pass for $8.
